Ride by the historical and UNESCO world sites of Évora and Monsaraz. A bike tour in the sunny Alentejo plains, suited for every type of rider, where you'll explore the natural beauty of the vineyards and olive fields, admire the Alqueva lake and its Dark Sky reserve as well as trying the delicious local gastronomy.

Start your tour in Évora, capital of Alentejo. Private briefing and bike fit will take place at M'ar d'Ar Muralhas, a 4 star hotel placed inside the fortified walls of the Évora city center. The following days will be used to explore Évora's beautiful and historical city center. We’ll also ride the surrounding areas, choosing from several bike loops with different profiles, to Arraiolos, the Almendres Cromelech or the Évora cyclepath. On the third day, you'll start your ride towards Monsaraz, through the car-free roads of the central Alentejo plains. Arriving at Monsaraz, you'll stay at the 4 star rural hotel Horta da Moura where you'll spend the next days exploring the local wine cellars and farms, the Alqueva lake and the mesmorizing fortified village of Monsaraz. Pick-up and transfer to Évora airport during your final day.

If you wish to discover more of the Alentejo, you can choose to add 2 extra days to your adventure and ride from Monsaraz to Vila Viçosa, Elvas, Estremoz and the Alentejo marble region, staying 2 extra nights at the amazing 5 star "Marmoris” hotel in Vila Viçosa.

"Discover the marble region" option includes:

• 2 additional nights at Marmoris 5 star hotel, breakfast included, in double accommodation;

Can I start a tour in any date? Yes, you can, as these are private self-guide tours, for you and your group only. Subject to availability.
How many people are required to book? We accept bookings for a minimum of 2 guests on our self-guided bike tours.
Do you require downpayment? When is the total payment due? We require a downpayment of 50% of the value of the tour upon booking. The remaining value us due 30 days before the start date of your tour.

What are the accepted payment methods?
We accept payment via Paypal and any other major credit/debit cards. Payment for all tours and rentals are made entirely upon booking, and online.

What's your cancellation policy for bike tours?
If you need to cancel or change your bike tour to unexpected circumstances, our cancellation policy follows below:

• Bike tour cancellation requested 120 days before tour:
  100% of the value payed is refunded;
• Bike tour cancellation requested between 119 to 90 days:
  60% of the value payed is refunded;
• Bike tour cancellation requested between 89 to 30 days:
  50% of the value payed is refunded;
• Bike tour cancellation requested 29 days, or less, before the tour:
  No refunds;
